So do I. That’s why I’m running for the Ward 2 City Council seat.
The primary election seems a long way off (February 12), but the campaign can’t wait. And neither can I! I’m excited to start meeting with Ward 2 folks and hearing and sharing concerns, joys, and ideas related to our home—Oklahoma City.
I have relevant experience and important qualifications for the job, and you’ll hear about all those during the next few weeks. For right now, let’s start with a joyous celebration of democracy and our right and privilege to select our leaders. Hope to see you the 19th!
Neighborhood Activist and Experienced Leader Suzanne Broadbent Announces Bid for OKC Ward 2
Neighborhood activist and experienced leader, Suzanne Broadbent, formally announced her election bid for Ward 2 OKC City Council to a crowd of 100 neighbors and friends gathered at Café Kacao. The ward 2 seat is open, the sitting councilman Ed Shadid opting not to seek re-election. Broadbent filed her declaration of candidacy on December 3, 2018. Bob Anthony is campaign chair.
